Eugenia Stamboliev (at)

Eugenia Stamboliev is a media scholar and philosopher of technology with a background in legal studies. She is interested in how media and technologies shape society and in studying emerging technology critically. Her work scrutinises the power dynamics of AI and corporate motifs by addressing its effects not only on communication or value structures but also on vulnerable groups, like workers or women.

Eugenia holds research and lecturing positions at the University of Vienna, is a research project co-leader at the Prague University of Business and Economics and was just appointed a visiting professor at the BTU Cottbus.
