Veronika Nad (de)

Veronika Nad has been working as an activist and campaigner since 2015, joining the Disruption Network Lab in 2023. Her work is focused on advancing freedom of expression, transparency, and accountability. Veronika is one of the founders of Blueprint for Free Speech e.V., an international organization working to promote free speech and whistleblower rights. With Blueprint, she contributed to the pan-European campaign establishing legal protection for EU whistleblowers. In 2018, Veronika co-founded Enough, an open-source community project aimed at facilitating collaborations between software developers and human rights activists. Most recently, she supported the establishment of Forensis, an architectural research group investigating human rights violations to build cases for exacting accountability. A trained anthropologist, she has conducted field research in India and Tanzania, with her academic research exploring collective identity, politics of commemoration and nation building in postcolonial Africa. Additional fields of study include modern phenomenology and philosophy of the mind.
