Nick Srnicek (ca)

Nick Srnicek is a Senior Lecturer in Digital Economy at King's College London. His books include After Work: A History of the Home and the Fight for Free Time (Verso, 2023 with Helen Hester), Platform Capitalism (Polity, 2016), and Inventing the Future: Postcapitalism and a World Without Work (Verso, 2015 with Alex Williams).

His next research project will be examining the political economy of AI and the ways in which machine learning and big data are generating monopolies of power and profit within contemporary capitalism, and what this may mean for the future of the economy.
