Florian Pirker has been involved with the Elevate Festival in various capacities for over a decade and has been Production Manager and Co-Curator of the discourse program since 2023. He studied European Ethnology and Global Studies. As a research assistant at the Center for Inter American Studies in Graz, he contributed to an international study on Aging Masculinities, researching age(ing), gender, masculinities, social roles, norms, and power structures. He has also been long active with the Graz-based cultural association disko404 and is active as a musician and DJ.
