Gilda Sahebi (de)
Gilda Sahebi is a trained medical doctor and political scientist. She completed her journalistic traineeship at Bayerischer Rundfunk and works as a freelance journalist focusing on domestic and foreign policy, authoritarian systems, and polarization. She writes for taz and Der Spiegel and contributes to, among others, ARD. Her books “Our Sword Is Love: The Feminist Revolt in Iran” and “How We Teach Ourselves Racism: An Analysis of German Debates” were published in 2023 and 2024 by S. Fischer Verlag. Her most recent book, “Connecting Instead of Dividing: A Response to the Politics of Polarization”, was released in September 2025. Gilda Sahebi lives in Berlin.
