Sigrid Heistinger nimbly defies the neo-liberal delusion of specialization. The artist and activist led an alternative cultural center and has been organizing in diverse subcultural contexts for more than 10 years. Creatively versatile, their subject area of focus is the analysis of intersectional power dynamics in self organized structures, as well as wholistic system design. Sigrid travels versed between different worlds, from where they bring back utopian ideas, which they don´t get tired of birthing into reality - whether with a circular saw or enchantingly radical poetry. They write, research, sing and perform magic interdisciplinarily in Graz.
