Zlata is a sound artist and DJ based in Graz, also known as zlata zhdkv. She is interested in exploring “unexpress-ed/able” that exist in between the perception layers and different media. She works with multichannel systems, complex textures and tangible sounding materials, producing eerie, extreme sonic environments.

Those sound experiments are often reflected in her DJ sets, which can best be described as a tightrope walk between moods, styles and rhythms. Zlata manages to combine dark noise, evocative soundscapes and rhythmic patterns to guide the dance floor in a flow of sound.
